Malcolm Lassman
Chairman
Mr. Lassman is Chairman of Accela Capital Finance and manages strategic relationships for the company. Prior to founding Accela Capital, Mr. Lassman co-founded and managed Access Capital Mortgage, a residential mortgage brokerage. In addition, Mr. Lassman founded the Washington, DC office of the prestigious international law firm of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, where he practiced commercial law for over 30 years and served as the firm’s Senior Partner.
Mr. Lassman has served on several corporate boards, including several transportation related companies. Mr. Lassman holds a JD and a BA from Washington & Lee University.
Mark Christiana
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Christiana serves as CEO of Accela Capital Finance, managing the overall direction of the company as well as heading up its New York office and leading marketing and business development efforts for the company. He joined Accela in September 2007 with the merger of CLI Fleet, Inc. and Accela Capital Finance. Mr. Christiana was formerly the President and owner of CLI Fleet, Inc. a company which he co-founded and successfully managed for 15 years, specializing in the vehicle leasing business. Prior to founding CLI Fleet, Mr. Christiana was Vice President of Barclays Bank of New York, where he was a commercial lending officer. He has also worked at Manufacturers Hanover Bank in commercial lending and for an accounting firm. Mr. Christiana holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Villanova University.
H. Glen Goldstein
President
Mr. Goldstein serves as President of Accela Capital Finance, managing day-to-day operations and credit. Prior to founding Accela, Mr. Goldstein gained extensive experience in the financial services industry, having served as Vice President of Global Financial Services for Capital One Financial, where he developed and managed the corporation’s consumer loan servicing operation, an $8B loan portfolio of over 600,000 customers, encompassing installment lending, small business lending, and medical lending, including all customer relations and collections activities. Mr. Goldstein also established Capital One’s home equity originations operations and was responsible for account management (including credit policy) of the $5B consumer installment loan portfolio.
Prior to Capital One, Mr. Goldstein spent 10 years as a strategic management consultant with Bain & Company, where he crafted business strategies for multiple clients, including several financial services companies such as Comerica Bank, MBNA, The Associates, Allstate, and Prudential, as well as transportation companies, including Continental Airlines, and has extensive marketing experience, having consulted for Dell Computer Corporation and Frito-Lay. He has also founded several businesses, including Treehouse Partners, a government information services business, and HGG Consulting, a strategic management consulting business. Mr. Goldstein holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a BS in Economics, magna cum laude, with dual concentrations in Finance and Decision Sciences, from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and is a licensed insurance agent in 20 states. |
